Our last event was our Cash Mob, a neighborhood effort to gather residents of East Harlem for the purpose of supporting small businesses, and building community relationships. It was a packed house over at Santiago’s Beer Garden. If you missed it, be sure to head on over to Santiago’s Beer Garden, located at 2337 1st Avenue (corner of 120th St.), an outdoor eatery serving Dominican inspired comfort plates and you guessed it, various brews of beer.

Attendees young and old loved the entertainment, and first time Cash Mobbers were inquiring about the next one before it was over!

Next up is our 2nd annual Shop, Dine East Harlem Kick-off event, encouraging the community to think local when they consider their shopping and dining during the holiday season. We make it easy and convenient for residents to locate great deals and values with our local merchants during the holiday season.

Organized by the Business Development Center, participating merchants will have some great deals going on, and you’ll be in great company. RSVP here and don’t forget to tell a friend… you’ll want to share in this experience!
